We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of E-Commerce & Webstore to lead the creation and management of our e-commerce platform. This hands-on role involves building a world-class webstore, driving its growth Job and profitability, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, optimizing user experience, and assembling a high-performing team to achieve ambitious digital sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Strategy Development:
-
Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance the customer experience.

Set clear KPIs and goals for online sales performance, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion.

Webstore Creation and Management:
-
Own the strategy and creation of the ecommerce site
-
Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listing, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, IT) to ensure the webstore aligns with overall business goals and brand standards.

Ensure a seamless and efficient order fulfillment process, optimizing the end-to-end customer journey.

Customer Experience & User Interface Optimization:
-
Lead the continuous improvement of the webstore’s user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to improve site navigation, ease of use, and checkout efficiency.

Leverage data and customer feedback to drive decisions around webstore enhancements and A/B testing.

Digital Marketing & SEO:
-
Work closely with the digital marketing team to create and execute SEO/SEM strategies, email marketing campaigns, and social media promotions that drive traffic and boost conversions.

Ensure that all digital marketing efforts are aligned with e-commerce goals and contribute to overall brand visibility.

Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and AOV (Average Order Value) to measure performance.

Provide regular reporting to senior management on e-commerce performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.) to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and manage the e-commerce and webstore team, providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Identify talent needs and ensure the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.

Requirements:

Experience:
-
7+ years of experience in e-commerce creation and management, preferably in a B2B or consumables product environment.

Proven success in scaling e-commerce operations and managing a webstore to drive sales growth.

Excels in a high growth or startup environment

Able to be resourceful and work scrappy

Skills:

Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and the nuances of consumable products.

Proficient in e-commerce platforms (e.g., DDMSplus ,Red Falcon, ECI, ECinteractive Plus, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS systems.

Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, and online marketing strategies.

Strong planning and execution skills without delegation and team management skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
